ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police have called on parents to increase supervision of their children to prevent involvement in dangerous activities, particularly illegal street racing, which poses serious risks to young people and other road users.
The appeal was delivered by AKP Saudin Situmorang, S.Pd., Head of the Community Development Unit (Binmas) of the Aceh Tengah Police, on behalf of Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq during the "Safari Subuh" Rabu Berkah program at Al-Muhajirin Mosque in Paya Tumpi Village, Kebayakan District, on Wednesday (May 20, 2026) at around 05:00 a.m. WIB.Family Supervision as the Key to Prevention

He also recommended guiding children toward stronger religious practices, including regular prayers, as a way to protect them from negative influences.
"Parents must take a clear leadership role within the family so that children can grow under proper guidance and supervision," he stated.

Beyond family responsibility, AKP Saudin also encouraged village residents and local authorities to resolve 18 types of conflicts under Aceh's Qanun regulations through deliberation and consensus at the village level. This approach is expected to strengthen social harmony and maintain public order.According to him, resolving disputes locally can help communities address issues more quickly and peacefully without escalating them to higher authorities.
