ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Aceh Tengah Police (Polres Aceh Tengah) has arrested a government employee with PPPK status in connection with the alleged theft of sound system equipment in Mulie Jadi Village, Silih Nara District, Aceh Tengah Regency. The arrest was made on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The swift apprehension followed intensive police investigations after the victim filed an official report. Field inspections and evidence gathering eventually led officers to identify and detain the suspect.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Abdul Mufakhir, speaking on behalf of Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, said the investigative team immediately launched operations after receiving the report.
Officers followed several leads and pieces of evidence, which ultimately pointed to the suspect. After further probing, the police successfully arrested the individual.

"The suspect was detained following a series of investigations and operational actions in the field. He is currently being held at the Aceh Tengah Police Station for further legal processing," AKP Abdul Mufakhir stated.

PPPK Employee Identified as Suspect

Police identified the suspect as KA (30), a PPPK employee residing in Silih Nara District, Aceh Tengah. Investigators also secured several stolen items linked to the case.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at around 3:00 a.m. local time in Mulie Jadi Village. The case has been officially registered under police report number LP/B/65/V/2026/SPKT/Polres Aceh Tengah/Polda Aceh.
Sound System Recovered as Evidence
The arrest was carried out on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m. During the operation, police confiscated a complete sound system set, including speakers, amplifiers, audio processors, and wireless microphones of various brands and models.

The suspect is being charged under Article 477 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) for theft.
AKP Abdul Mufakhir also emphasized that the police will continue strengthening security and public order efforts within the Aceh Tengah jurisdiction.
"We urge the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious or criminal activities to the police," he said. (IDNC)
