"We are sending around one tonne of ready-to-eat food. The shipment consists of anchovies, shredded chicken and fried potato strips. They are ready to be consumed immediately and are intended as humanitarian assistance following the earthquake that struck Nusa Tenggara Timur Province on August 15, 2026," Timur Tumanggor said while seeing off the aid shipment for earthquake victims in Nusa Tenggara Timur.The aid shipment is the North Sumatra Provincial Government's response to the natural disaster that struck several areas in Nusa Tenggara Timur on August 15, 2026. The government hopes the ready-to-eat food will reach affected residents quickly and can be put to immediate use.
Timur explained that the North Sumatra Provincial Government was prioritizing food assistance that could be consumed directly by residents. The measure was based on the needs of people who remain in the emergency phase following the earthquake.
