POLICE AND COMMUNITY SYNERGY: Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq emphasizes the importance of collaboration between security forces, residents, and volunteers in accelerating the infrastructure recovery of the emergency bridge in Rusip Antara.

ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Subsector Police Post of Rusip Antara under the Aceh Tengah Police has joined forces with local residents to restore inter-village access through a collective effort to accelerate the reconstruction of a temporary emergency bridge. On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the concrete paving work of the bridge deck was carried out in Rusip Antara District.

The community work took place from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB and was directly led by IPDA Sunarto, Head of the Rusip Antara Police Subsector, together with personnel from the police force. Residents from Rusip, Arul Pertik, and Mekar Maju villages also participated, alongside volunteers from the "Ekspedisi Kita Bisa" organization.

The concrete paving marks the final stage of the emergency bridge construction, which was previously initiated through community self-help efforts supported by volunteers. With this step completed, the structure is now ready to restore vital transportation access as quickly as possible.

The bridge serves as a crucial lifeline for the community, directly connecting Rusip, Arul Pertik, and Mekar Maju villages.

Aceh Tengah Police Chief, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, emphasized that the police involvement reflects a commitment to social responsibility and efforts to accelerate infrastructure recovery following hydrometeorological disasters that previously disrupted public mobility.

"This bridge is a vital lifeline for the community. With the completion of the concrete work, transportation for both motorcycles and cars can now resume," he said.
