ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Polres Aceh Tengah has significantly intensified food safety supervision under the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in Lut Tawar. The move aims to ensure that all meals distributed to the public meet strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Strict Inspections Across Kitchen OperationsThe Health and Medical Unit (Sidokkes) of Polres Aceh Tengah carried out comprehensive food safety inspections at the MBG kitchen managed by the SPPG under the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation in Dedalu Village, Lut Tawar District.
Read Also:The inspection, which began at 06:30 WIB, was led by IPDA Johariadi, S.Kep., together with the quality control team. Officers examined the entire food production chain, including the receipt and storage of raw materials, food preparation processes, staff hygiene, and the sanitation of cooking equipment and food containers.
Special attention was also given to compliance in the use of food trays (ompreng) and overall kitchen cleanliness standards.

The inspection aligns with directives issued by Polda Aceh under Letter No. B/2825/X/WAS.1/2025/ITWASDA dated October 2, 2025. The directive calls for stricter implementation of MBG standards and the establishment of dedicated quality control teams.
Authorities also closely monitor food temperature control, meal distribution timing, and kitchen sanitation to minimize potential risks, particularly food contamination and food poisoning incidents.Strengthening Quality and Risk Management
The Head of Polres Aceh Tengah, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, emphasized that the monitoring process is part of a sustainable preventive quality assurance system."All kitchen processes must comply with standard SOPs. Food safety is our top priority so the program can run safely and benefit the community," he stated.

The SPPG under the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation, together with the police's quality assurance team, also conducts kitchen readiness audits, risk monitoring, and preventive measures against food poisoning. Coordination with local authorities further strengthens the program's implementation.
