ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Aceh Tengah Police have intensified nighttime and early morning patrols to ensure road safety and provide a sense of security for residents during rest hours. The initiative aims to prevent illegal street racing and other potential public order disturbances across the jurisdiction.
The patrol operation conducted on Friday, May 15, 2026, was led by the on-duty operations commander (Pawas), IPDA Zulkarnain, S.I.P., alongside deputy commander AIPTU Delita Budiara. The deployment also involved personnel from the regular duty unit, Unit Kecil Lengkap III, as well as officers from the Kebayakan and Bebesen Police Posts.Before the operation, all personnel attended a briefing and roll call at around 01:15 WIB, confirming full readiness to maintain nighttime public security.

During the patrol, officers monitored several locations identified as gathering points for young people and potential street racing hotspots. These included Jalan Soekarno-Hatta in the Paya Ilang area, Paya Tumpi, and Jalan Lintang.

As part of the operation, officers also secured three motorcycles suspected of being used for illegal street racing. The vehicles were confiscated as a preventive step to reduce accident risks and ensure traffic safety.The joint patrol concluded at 03:00 WIB. The situation across the operational area remained stable, secure, and under control. Authorities confirmed that similar measures will continue to be implemented consistently. (IDNC)
