Aceh Tengah Police Strengthen Public Security at “Safari Subuh” in Al-Fitrah Mosque

ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – A solemn and reflective atmosphere marked the "Safari Subuh" gathering held at Al-Fitrah Mosque in Keramat Mupakat Village, Bebesen District, Aceh Tengah Regency, on Wednesday morning (13/05/2026). The program, carried the theme "Rabu Berkah" (Blessed Wednesday), served as a platform for social engagement and the strengthening of public security and order (Kamtibmas) between the Aceh Tengah Police and various elements of society.

The initiative was jointly organized by the Aceh Tengah Police (Polres Aceh Tengah), the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Takengon, and the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of Aceh Tengah. The event began at 05:00 a.m. local time and was attended by the Deputy Regent of Aceh Tengah, the Rector of IAIN Takengon, the Chairperson of DMI Aceh Tengah, the Head of the Aceh Tengah MPU, the Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) Aceh Tengah, senior police officials, the Bebesen Sector Police Chief, and a large number of community members.

"Safari Subuh" as a Platform for Social Solidarity

Following the congregational dawn prayer, the Head of the Community Guidance Unit (Binmas) of the Aceh Tengah Police, AKP Saudin Situmorang, representing Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Taufiq, delivered a message on strengthening public security and order to worshippers. He emphasized the importance of shared responsibility in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment.

"A secure and peaceful society can only be achieved through collective cooperation in safeguarding Kamtibmas. We therefore invite the public to further strengthen awareness of safety within their surroundings," AKP Saudin stated.

Village Governance and Local Conflict Resolution

AKP Saudin also highlighted the critical role of village administrations in addressing local social issues through customary mechanisms and deliberation-based (musyawarah) approaches. He referred to Aceh's Qanun regulations, which outline 18 types of conflicts that can be resolved at the village level through traditional settlement systems.

He further stressed the importance of close coordination between village officials and Bhabinkamtibmas officers in every aspect of conflict resolution to ensure swift and effective handling of community issues.

Strengthening Cooperation for Regional Stability

Concluding his remarks, AKP Saudin called on the public to further enhance collaboration with the police in order to maintain stability and public order across Aceh Tengah. According to him, strong cooperation between communities and law enforcement is key to creating a safe and peaceful environment throughout the regency. (IDNC)
