DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM ~ A total of 631 residents of Bandar Labuhan Village in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, received food aid (Bapang) for the February–March 2026 period. The assistance, consisting of 10 kilograms of rice and 4 liters of cooking oil, was distributed directly to those in need.
Organized Food Aid DistributionThe distribution took place on Monday, March 6, 2026, at the Bandar Labuhan Village Office, Jalan Tengku Amir Hamzah, Dusun 5, Tanjung Morawa, Deli Serdang. The event ran smoothly and in an orderly manner, supported fully by village officials and relevant authorities.
Read Also:The acting Village Head (Pj), represented by Village Secretary Azrul Abdillah, stated that the village administration distributes aid according to the recipient list provided directly by the central government.

"The village administration's role is only to distribute the aid in the specified quantities," said Azrul.
Read Also:Each recipient was required to bring a valid e-KTP, an invitation letter, and a copy of their family card. In addition, recipients were photographed using a government-approved online application as part of the verification process.

"For ordinary villagers like us, this basic food aid is very helpful. Prices of essential goods are constantly rising, while the economic situation for many people is getting more difficult," said Salmah.
The middle-aged woman hopes the program will continue to help residents meet their daily needs."We hope this program won't be interrupted, so low-income residents can continue receiving support," added Salmah.
