MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM - The decree issued by the Central Executive Board of the Partai Golkar regarding the composition of the DPD Partai Golkar North Sumatra leadership for the 2026–2031 term has officially been released. The Central Executive Board appointed Viktor Silaen as secretary, who will work alongside Andar Amin Harahap, chairman of the DPD Partai Golkar North Sumatra.
Information regarding the release of the decree emerged on Monday, September 14, 2026, after photographs of the decree and several Golkar North Sumatra officials were widely circulated on social media.The photographs show Andar Amin Harahap and Viktor Silaen jointly holding the decree on the leadership structure of the Partai Golkar North Sumatra. Several senior Golkar cadres also appear in the photographs, including Yasyir Ridho Loebis, Rolel Harahap, Zainuddin Purba and Suruhenta Sembiring.
The release of the decree also brings an end to the wait for final clarity regarding the leadership structure of the Partai Golkar North Sumatra following the regional party conference, known as the Musyawarah Daerah (Musda).Yasyir Ridho Loebis confirmed the release of the decree when contacted via WhatsApp on Monday, September 14, 2026.

The appointment of Viktor Silaen as secretary of the DPD Partai Golkar North Sumatra is among the key points in the leadership structure determined by the Central Executive Board of the Partai Golkar.
Viktor will work alongside Andar Amin Harahap, who was previously elected chairman of the Partai Golkar North Sumatra. With the release of the decree, the leadership structure of the Partai Golkar North Sumatra for the 2026–2031 term now has an official decision from the Central Executive Board.Meanwhile, not all senior Golkar cadres who had been seen during the Musda process were included in the new leadership structure.
Yasyir Ridho Loebis confirmed that he did not receive a position in the DPD Partai Golkar North Sumatra leadership structure for the 2026–2031 term. He explained that his role in the Musda process had been completed after ensuring that all procedural stages were carried out through to the release of the decree."I did not receive a position. My task was to ensure that the Musda was successfully carried through to the release of the decree, in accordance with the instructions of my friend Doli Kurnia," Yasyir Ridho said.
The statement confirms that Yasyir Ridho will not hold a position in the new leadership structure after completing his role in the Musda process.
Following the release of the decree by the Central Executive Board of the Partai Golkar, the Golkar North Sumatra leadership is expected to immediately begin its internal organizational activities.
The Partai Golkar North Sumatra leadership is scheduled to hold a plenary meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the DPD Partai Golkar North Sumatra office on Jalan Wahid Hasyim in Medan.The plenary meeting will discuss several initial organizational matters following the release of the decree for the 2026–2031 term. One of the items on the agenda is the introduction of the newly appointed members of the leadership structure.
The leadership will also discuss preparations for the inauguration of the Partai Golkar North Sumatra leadership for the 2026–2031 term.The plenary meeting will therefore serve as the first step for the new leadership to begin its organizational work following the official determination of the structure by the Central Executive Board.
