In addition, police officers are promoting safer and more environmentally friendly land management practices to help preserve natural resources in the long term.

Legal Consequences and Community Role Emphasized

As part of a balanced preventive and educational approach, authorities also remind the public about the legal consequences of illegal land and forest burning. Iptu Rasimin stressed that the success of wildfire prevention depends heavily on community participation.

"We hope that through continuous patrols and awareness efforts, public understanding will improve and forest fires can be prevented early," he said.

He also underlined that strong cooperation between police and the community is essential to protect the environment and minimize the risk of smoke disasters in Aceh Tengah. (IDNC)
