LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM - The spirit of cooperation between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) was strengthened once again in Labuhanbatu Selatan. Marking the 81st anniversary of the TNI, personnel from the Torgamba Police Station (Polsek Torgamba) visited the 11th Kotapinang Military Subdistrict Command (Koramil 11/Kotapinang) on Monday afternoon, October 5, 2026.
The visit was not merely a ceremonial anniversary event. Behind the cake-cutting and congratulations was a message about the importance of maintaining the unity of two state institutions that are at the forefront of maintaining security, public order and stability in society.The Polsek Torgamba delegation was led by Police Chief AKP Sunipan Gurusinga, S.H., who represented the Labuhanbatu Selatan Police Chief, AKBP Rosef Efendi, S.I.K., M.H., CPHR. The event began at 4 p.m. Western Indonesian Time and continued until its conclusion at the Koramil 11/Kotapinang headquarters.
The Polsek Torgamba delegation was welcomed by Batuud of Koramil 11/Kotapinang, PelTU Ahmad Nawi Harahap, together with Koramil personnel and Babinsa officers.
The Polsek Torgamba delegation also included IPTU Rajo Irawan Lubis, S.H., M.H., head of the Torgamba Police Criminal Investigation Unit; AIPTU Erwin Lubis, acting head of the Provost Unit; AIPTU B. Sinaga, acting head of the Community Development Unit; AIPTU PF Tanjung, acting head of the Intelligence Unit; as well as all personnel of Polsek Torgamba.A warm atmosphere emerged when personnel from Polsek Torgamba and Koramil 11/Kotapinang sang a birthday song together. They then blew out the candles to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the TNI.
On the occasion, Polsek Torgamba Chief AKP Sunipan Gurusinga extended his congratulations to all personnel of Koramil 11/Kotapinang on the 81st anniversary of the TNI.He expressed his hope that the TNI would continue to achieve success and work together with the community to safeguard national unity and security.
"May the TNI always achieve greater success. Together with the people, the TNI is strong," AKP Sunipan Gurusinga said on the occasion.The message also underscored the important roles of the TNI and Polri in maintaining security at the regional level. Although the two institutions have their respective duties, coordination and cooperation are essential to responding to various security developments and social issues in the community.
