ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Teguh Siswoyo, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., has extended his congratulations to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (Tentara Nasional Indonesia/TNI) on its 81st anniversary, which will be commemorated on Monday, October 5, 2026. The message also reflects the Indonesian National Police's (Polri) appreciation for the TNI's dedication and contributions to defending national sovereignty and safeguarding the territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

"Happy 81st Anniversary to the TNI. A strong TNI standing alongside the people for a sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia," AKBP Teguh Siswoyo said in Aceh Tengah.

The police chief conveyed his congratulations together with personnel and members of Bhayangkari, the police wives' association, at the Aceh Tengah Police Headquarters. The TNI anniversary also provides an opportunity to strengthen institutional ties and reaffirm their shared commitment to maintaining security and public order.

According to AKBP Teguh, the TNI plays a strategically important role in defending national sovereignty. The dedication of its soldiers to protecting the country's territorial integrity and safeguarding the nation represents a significant part of Indonesia's history. Therefore, the TNI's 81st anniversary is not merely an annual celebration but also an occasion to recognize the contributions of all soldiers in carrying out their national duties.

Strengthening Solidarity and Cooperation Between TNI and Polri

AKBP Teguh emphasized that harmonious relations between the TNI and Polri are essential to maintaining national security. Although both institutions have their respective duties and responsibilities, they must continuously strengthen coordination and cooperation for the benefit of the people, nation, and state.

"The unity of the TNI, Polri, and the public is an important asset in maintaining security, national unity, and public order. This cooperation must be continuously nurtured so that it serves the interests of the nation and state," he said.

Teguh explained that the challenges of maintaining security and public order require close cooperation among all stakeholders. Neither the TNI nor Polri can carry out their responsibilities independently without the support and participation of the public.

For this reason, communication, coordination, and partnership between the two institutions must be further intensified. Effective cooperation will enable both organizations to respond more efficiently to various security challenges while ensuring a safe and stable environment for society.

The Aceh Tengah Police Chief also highlighted the important role of the public in maintaining regional stability. Strong relationships between security personnel and residents help build public trust and strengthen social cohesion in facing various challenges.

TNI Urged to Become More Professional and Remain Close to the People

On the occasion, AKBP Teguh expressed his hope that the TNI would continue to grow stronger, more professional, and more united while maintaining its close relationship with the people. Public trust remains an important foundation for the TNI in carrying out its defense responsibilities and protecting the territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.

He also expressed hope that the TNI's 81st anniversary would further strengthen cooperation among the TNI, Polri, and the public, particularly in maintaining security and public order in Aceh Tengah Regency.
