Driving Village Dawah Efforts
In the remote area of Kecamatan Sekerak, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, where access to formal religious education is limited, the Tok Imam Gampong serves as the main agent for instilling Islamic values.
Through personal guidance, exemplary behavior, sermons at the Meunasah, Friday prayers, Quran lessons, and daily social interactions, the Tok Imam shapes villagers' religious understanding and practices.
"The communication strategy of the Tok Imam Gampong is particularly effective because it is rooted in emotional and social closeness. This trust surpasses that given to external actors—a powerful social model for Dawah," added Daarul Naad.
