BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Government of Aceh has officially launched the Action and Community Participation Map Disaster Management Dashboard, a digital platform designed to strengthen coordination, transparency, and citizen engagement in responding to natural disasters.
The platform, accessible at tanggapi.acehprov.go.id, was unveiled on Friday (February 27, 2026) at the Provincial Secretariat's multipurpose hall in Banda Aceh. The ceremony was led by Aceh Provincial Secretary M. Nasir.Nasir described the dashboard as a strategic step toward integrated, collaborative, and data-driven disaster governance. The system serves as a centralized information and action-mapping tool, consolidating real-time data, monitoring operational progress, and enhancing inter-agency coordination.

According to the provincial government, the dashboard incorporates six core disaster management clusters: search and rescue, logistics, evacuation, health, education, and rehabilitation and reconstruction.
"This dashboard provides transparent and comprehensive access to data across all six clusters. Through this integrated system, incidents can be identified more quickly, responses can be managed more precisely, and policy decisions can be made based on measurable and reliable data," Nasir said. The system not only accelerates the identification of disaster events but also supports evidence-based decision-making at the provincial level, ensuring faster and more targeted interventions during emergencies.

Fauza Morisan, Secretary of Aceh's Communication, Informatics and Encryption Agency, emphasized that the platform also serves as a tool to enhance community participation in disaster reporting and response.
He explained that the development team has integrated the dashboard with several other digital platforms to ensure structured and sustainable data exchange. Citizens can now report incidents quickly and systematically, enabling authorities to respond more effectively and efficiently. Before its official launch, the dashboard underwent multiple phases, including system development, simulations, testing, and targeted training sessions for government officials and volunteers.
Morisan added that cross-sector collaboration remains essential, particularly during post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts. A structured digital system, he said, will help ensure greater transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency.Toward More Responsive Disaster Governance
With the launch of the integrated dashboard, the Aceh provincial government aims to reinforce coordinated and participatory disaster governance. Amid rising hydrometeorological threats, the administration reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening protection and public service delivery, particularly in high-risk areas across the province. The initiative marks a significant milestone in Aceh's ongoing efforts to modernize disaster risk management and enhance resilience in the face of climate-related challenges.
