ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – Aceh Tengah Police Chief, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, has called on the public to actively maintain security and public order, keep the environment clean, strengthen supervision of children, and use social media responsibly.
The appeal was delivered during the "Safari Subuh – Rabu Berkah" morning program held at Baitul Iman Mosque in Kebet Village, Bebesen District, on Wednesday (April 29, 2026)."Alhamdulillah, the current security situation in Aceh Tengah is generally stable and safe. We must work together to preserve this condition," Taufiq told worshippers attending the event.

In his remarks, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq emphasized the vital role of parents in supervising their children. He referred to incidents where children left home without their parents' knowledge and stayed overnight at friends' houses.
Read Also:He also highlighted cases of immoral behavior and child abuse handled by the Aceh Tengah Police, describing them as a warning to the community. According to him, such incidents are often linked to poor communication and lack of supervision within families.
"Strong communication and proper supervision between parents and children are essential to prevent unwanted incidents," he stressed.

The police chief also urged residents to exercise caution when using social media. He advised the public to verify information before sharing it, especially if its accuracy is uncertain and could potentially create unrest in society.
