LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The Traffic Unit of the Labuhanbatu Selatan Police conducted a socialization and data collection outreach related to Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and Motor Vehicle Title Transfer Fees (BBNKB) on Monday, May 25, 2026. The event took place on the first floor of the Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency Government meeting hall and aimed to enhance public awareness of proper vehicle registration while optimizing regional revenue collection.
The initiative was carried out in close collaboration between the Labuhanbatu Selatan Police, the local government, and various related institutions. The program emphasized the importance of efficient tax administration in the transportation sector, which also contributes to improving public services. "Through this socialization, we hope the public will better understand the importance of proper vehicle registration, as vehicle taxes significantly contribute to regional development and public service improvement," AKP Yustina stated.She further underlined that the effective implementation of PKB and BBNKB data collection requires strong interagency synergy to ensure transparent and citizen-oriented services.
