LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COMThe Labuhanbatu Selatan Police have introduced a unique public service initiative by providing free mobile phone charging for motorists in Kotapinang, reflecting a more humane and community-oriented approach to policing.

The activity was carried out by the Traffic Unit (Satlantas) on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Warung Bedagai parking area in Kotapinang District, Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency.

Several traffic police personnel took part in the activity, including AKP Nelson Silalahi, AKP Yustina, Aipda Aidil S., Brigadier A. Nababan, Bripda Bima, and Bripda Ricky.

Labuhanbatu Selatan Police Chief AKBP Aditya S. P. Sembiring Muham, through Traffic Unit Head AKP Yustina, emphasized that the program reflects the police's commitment to serving the public beyond law enforcement duties.

"With this initiative, we aim to stay closer to the community. Sometimes small things like charging a mobile phone become very important for people on the move. The police must be present and provide real benefits," said AKP Yustina.
