ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police have significantly intensified efforts to curb illegal street racing. Strengthened patrols extending into the early hours of the morning come in response to rising public complaints over dangerous driving behaviors that threaten road safety. The initiative aims to maintain a strong police presence and prevent violations before they occur.
On the night of Saturday, May 23, 2026, personnel from the functional units of the Aceh Tengah Police carried out targeted patrols along Jalan Lintang up to the RSU Datu Beru area in Takengon. The operation focused on known hotspots where illegal street racing and reckless riding behavior among youths have frequently been reported.Patrol Finds Situation Calm
Read Also:During the one-hour patrol from 00:30 to 01:30 local time, the team led by IPDA Nazar, Pamapta 1 SPKT of the Aceh Tengah Police, inspected several points along the route. Authorities reported no signs of street racing, crowd gatherings, or security disturbances. The entire stretch from Jalan Lintang to RSU Datu Beru remained calm, orderly, and secure.
