The incident is said to have occurred on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at around 5:30 p.m. local time along Jalan Batang Kuis, Telaga Sari Village, Tanjung Morawa District.
According to accounts from local sources, the banner was allegedly torn down by a Satpol PP unit without any prior notification or official notice requesting its removal.
