The event became a memorable moment for many children, as some of them experienced watching a movie in a cinema for the first time.
The event was organized by the Deli Serdang Office of Women Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning (P3AP2KB) as part of the National Children's Day celebrations. Elementary school students from the Tanjung Morawa area participated in the activity.The event was not only about watching the film. The children also had the opportunity to spend time with Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan and Chairwoman of TP PKK Deli Serdang, Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan. Their presence created a warm atmosphere filled with happiness and closeness.
For many of the children attending, visiting a cinema was a new experience that they would not easily forget. Before the movie started, they showed great excitement and carefully followed every scene of Moana's adventure.
During a conversation with the Deli Serdang Regent, one of the participants, Muhammad, happily shared his first cinema experience."I am happy, Sir. I have never been to a cinema before," Muhammad said.
Muhammad's simple statement added a special warmth to the event. Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan, who was present among the children, enjoyed the opportunity to interact and share moments with them before the movie screening began.
Asri Ludin Tambunan explained that the activity was not only intended as entertainment for children but also as an effort to create positive experiences that they could remember in the future.
According to him, children's happiness is an important aspect that deserves special attention. Children must continue to be given opportunities to play, learn, and experience their growth and development in the best possible way."The most important thing is that the children are happy. They can watch the movie and spend time with their friends. Hopefully, this will become a good and beautiful experience for them," he said.
The Deli Serdang Regent emphasized that simple activities such as watching a movie together can leave a meaningful impression on children, especially those who have never experienced the atmosphere of a cinema before.
