A local resident named Firman reported the incident occurring at the mess complex area of Café Marina City, Tanjung Riau, Sekupang District, Batam.

Following the emergency call received at 05:55 WIB, the Batara Biru unit coordinated through the SPK of Polresta Barelang and promptly dispatched personnel from Sekupang Police Station to the location.
Police emphasized the importance of rapid response through the 110 emergency service as part of their public safety duties.
