Strengthening Discipline and Public Trust

Police Chief AKBP Aditya S.P. Sembiring Muham emphasized that routine inspections are a key component of maintaining discipline and security within the force.

"Firearms are high-risk tools. Their use must strictly follow regulations. I urge all personnel to act with discipline and responsibility," he stated.

He added that the absence of violations in the inspection results reflects the professionalism of the officers under his command.

In recent years, incidents involving firearm misuse by police personnel in various regions have affected public trust. For this reason, regular inspections are considered essential to ensure transparency and accountability.

Given the complex security challenges in Labuhanbatu Selatan, ranging from conventional crime to narcotics-related offenses, responsible use of authority remains a top priority. The police reaffirmed that the inspection sends a clear message: there is zero tolerance for misconduct. (IDNC)
