BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM – To maintain public safety and comfort during the International Workers' Day (May Day 2026) holiday, the Belakang Padang Police Station (Polsek Belakang Padang) carried out enhanced security operations (KRYD) across several tourism destinations within its jurisdiction. From early morning, officers were deployed to monitor high-traffic recreational areas.
Under the leadership of Police Chief AKP Asril, the operation involved personnel from the Bhabinkamtibmas unit, patrol officers, and the intelligence division (Intelkam). Key focus areas included Pantai Pasir Putih Beach and the Pelabuhan Rakyat Kuning public harbor, both of which are among the most visited destinations during public holidays.
Officers conducted both stationary monitoring and foot patrols throughout crowded zones to observe visitor activity directly and ensure a safe, orderly environment.
