BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Aceh Deputy Governor Fadhlullah has successfully mediated a conflict between Aceh Singkil Regent Safriadi Oyon and the local legislative council (DPRK Aceh Singkil) over the approval of the 2026 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBK).
Intensive Mediation at Governor's Office and Deputy Governor's ResidenceFadhlullah led an intensive mediation session at the Aceh Governor's Office on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The discussions continued into the evening at the official residence of the Deputy Governor, reflecting the seriousness of the negotiations.

The dispute between the local government and the DPRK Aceh Singkil had previously delayed the approval of the 2026 APBK, making Aceh Singkil one of the last regions in Aceh to finalize its budget, despite the legal deadline having expired in November 2025.

Read Also:Fadhlullah emphasized the importance of honoring the agreement reached by both sides, warning against any actions that could undermine the mediation results. He stressed that maintaining stability in local governance must remain a priority.
"Harmony between the regency government and the DPRK is key to accelerating development in Aceh Singkil," Fadhlullah stated.
He also urged the local government to immediately convene a plenary session to formally ratify the 2026 APBK on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, ensuring continuity of government operations and development programs.

The mediation process was also attended by Syakir, Assistant for Government Affairs, Special Autonomy and Public Welfare of the Aceh Regional Secretariat, Murthala, Assistant for General Administration, and the Aceh Inspector.
