BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM - Aceh Deputy Governor Fadhlullah, also known as Dek Fadh, attended the handover of the appointment letter to Taufik as Acting Secretary of Aceh Province. Taufik previously served as Head of the Aceh Provincial Public Housing and Settlement Areas Office.
The appointment letter was handed over on Monday, August 24, 2026, in a hybrid ceremony. Dek Fadh participated online from the Hall of the Aceh Government Liaison Office in Jakarta. Meanwhile, Taufik personally received the appointment letter at the Hall of the Aceh Personnel Agency in Banda Aceh.On the occasion, Dek Fadh urged Taufik to carry out his duties as Acting Secretary of Aceh Province professionally. He also called on him to uphold his integrity and establish good communication with all of the Aceh Government's partners.
"I wish you every success in your work. Maintain your integrity and foster good communication with the partners of the Aceh Government," Deputy Governor Dek Fadh said through Aceh Government spokesperson Nurlis Effendi.Taufik's appointment as Acting Secretary of Aceh Province coincided with the inauguration of M. Nasir Syamaun as Head of the Aceh Provincial Library and Archives Office. Both ceremonies were held at different locations in a hybrid format.
At the ceremony, Dek Fadh represented Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf, also known as Mualem, and followed the handover of Taufik's appointment letter from Jakarta. At the same time, Taufik attended the ceremony at the Hall of the Aceh Personnel Agency in Banda Aceh.
Dek Fadh emphasized the importance of Taufik's professionalism in carrying out his new duties as Acting Secretary of Aceh Province. The position plays an important role in supporting the smooth operation of government administration and ensuring effective coordination among agencies within the Aceh Government.In addition to maintaining integrity, Dek Fadh also stressed the importance of good communication with various partners of the Aceh Government. In his view, effective communication is necessary to ensure that government duties can be carried out efficiently.
The handover of the appointment letter was part of a series of government activities in Aceh held on Monday, August 24, 2026. As part of the same program, the Aceh Government also inaugurated M. Nasir Syamaun as Head of the Aceh Provincial Library and Archives Office.Nasir previously served as Secretary of Aceh Province. The government subsequently dismissed him from the position, with recognition of his previous service, through a presidential decree on Friday, August 21, 2026. Following his departure as provincial secretary, the Aceh Government appointed Nasir as Head of the Aceh Provincial Library and Archives Office.
"I am swearing in Mr. Nasir on the instructions of Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf," Deputy Governor Dek Fadh said.Dek Fadh explained that Nasir had made an important contribution during his tenure as Secretary of Aceh Province. However, the change of position was a decision made by the Aceh governor and therefore had to be implemented.
"However, this is the governor's decision. He has been given a new assignment and a new position," Dek Fadh said.According to Dek Fadh, changes in the government structure are a normal part of the bureaucracy. He therefore called on all parties not to unnecessarily dramatize the change.
Dek Fadh said organizational renewal and the assignment of new responsibilities to civil servants are part of the dynamics within the bureaucracy. Therefore, Nasir's transfer from Secretary of Aceh Province to Head of the Library and Archives Office should be regarded as a normal development.
"Renewal and the assignment of new duties are normal for civil servants and should not be overemphasized. We extend our highest appreciation to Mr. Nasir, who previously served as provincial secretary, for his dedication," the deputy governor said.The Aceh Government now hopes that the personnel changes will contribute to the smooth operation of government and the implementation of development programs. Taufik's appointment as Acting Secretary of Aceh Province and Nasir's appointment as Head of the Library and Archives Office are part of a reorganization of leadership positions within the Aceh Government.
With his new assignment, Taufik is now responsible for supporting coordination and administration within the Aceh Government. Meanwhile, Nasir will lead the Aceh Provincial Library and Archives Office after previously serving as provincial secretary.The Aceh Government expects the experience of both officials to provide an important foundation for carrying out their respective new responsibilities. Dek Fadh also expressed his appreciation to Nasir for his service during his tenure as Secretary of Aceh Province and urged Taufik to immediately carry out his new responsibilities professionally.
