JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) officially launched the Presisi Merdeka Run Jambi 2026 on Saturday morning (June 6, 2026). The ceremonial kickoff began around 06:00 WIB and was met with strong enthusiasm from participants. The opening was led by the Head of Planning and Organization Bureau of Polda Jambi. The route stretched from the Polda Jambi Headquarters compound to the former MTQ area in Jambi, which served as the finish line.
The launch marks the beginning of preparations for the main Presisi Merdeka Run Jambi 2026, scheduled to take place on August 9, 2026. The start and finish line will be located at Garuda Field within the Jambi Provincial Government complex, where thousands of participants from various regions are expected to gather.From the early hours of the morning, the atmosphere at the Polda Jambi headquarters was lively. Police personnel, event organizers, and participating residents joined the kickoff with high enthusiasm. Beyond its symbolic meaning, the launch also served as an early stage of public outreach for the upcoming sporting event.
Strengthening Community Engagement Through SportsChairman of the organizing committee, Senior Commissioner Adi Benny Cahyono, expressed appreciation for the participation of the public and media representatives. The Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Inspector General Krisno H. Siregar, through the Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Erlan Munaji, stated that the Presisi Merdeka Run reflects a community-oriented policing approach.
