MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Ustaz Darwis, Deputy Chair of the Alwasliyah Regional Administration, encouraged the Muslim community to deepen their connection with Allah SWT through the Qur'an, especially during the sacred month of Ramadan.
He delivered this message during the regular morning lecture at Masjid Nurul Islam, Pasar 7 Percut Seituan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

During his sermon, Ustaz Darwis emphasized that Allah SWT is always near to His servants and listens to the prayers of those who sincerely seek His help.
"Allah is very close to the believers, especially to those who follow His commands—even without any intermediary," he said.
He added that Ramadan provides an opportunity to improve one's life and increase piety through the guidance of the Qur'an.
"Just as a broken fan is fixed by reading the manual and correcting the faults, the Qur'an serves as our guide. Implementing its teachings at the right time—especially during Ramadan—brings true benefit," Ustaz Darwis explained.

The founder of Rumah Surga also urged believers to intensify their prayers, read the Qur'an, and practice Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) during the holy month. "Whether through prayer, reading the Qur'an, or remembering Allah, this strengthens our hearts," he said.

He explained that Dhikr calms the heart and reduces fear, stress, and anxiety. Referring to Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 28, he stressed that believers find inner peace when they continuously remember Allah and recite the Qur'an.
"Just as the rightly guided caliphs succeeded in this world and the hereafter, believers can maintain a close connection with Allah in daily life by following the Qur'an," Ustaz Darwis continued.
Make the Most of Ramadan for Enhanced Worship
Concluding his sermon, the head of Yayasan Al Hijrah School encouraged the congregation to make the most of the last days of Ramadan to enhance both the quantity and quality of their worship.
