JAKARTA | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaboration between Indonesia's central and regional governments to enhance political stability and national security.
The statement was delivered during a political and security dialogue session held with the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, Djamari Chaniago, at the Coordinating Ministry's main building in Jakarta on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Muzakir Manaf, widely known as Mualem, emphasized that the forum serves as a strategic platform to bring together the central government and regional administrations. The initiative aims to improve policy synchronization and reinforce the role of governors in maintaining regional stability.
Participants also discussed key issues, including the harmonization of national and regional policies, as well as practical steps to ensure consistent implementation of government programs across all provinces.

During the dialogue, both sides underscored that political stability and security remain fundamental pillars of Indonesia's national development. Strong cross-sector coordination was highlighted as essential to improving the effectiveness of government programs.
Mualem stressed that close alignment between all levels of government is crucial to achieving sustainable development and maintaining long-term stability. He added that consistency in political strategy is a key driver of national progress.

The governor also reiterated Aceh's commitment to actively supporting national policies, particularly in the areas of security and stability.
"This meeting is important to ensure a shared understanding between the central and regional governments so that stability is maintained and development can be implemented more effectively and efficiently," Mualem said.
He further noted that aligning visions between central and regional governments would significantly strengthen the effectiveness of national development efforts.
The Aceh governor was accompanied by several senior officials, including the First Assistant of the Aceh Regional Secretariat Syakir, Head of the Governor's Secretariat Administrative Bureau Akkar Arafat, and Head of the Governance and Autonomy Bureau Bob Mizwar. (IDNC)
