OPERATION ANTIK SIGINJAI RAID: Satresnarkoba Polresta Jambi officers conduct inspections at several guesthouses during Operation Antik Siginjai 2026, uncovering suspected drug abuse and alleged illegal narcotics distribution activities.

JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Jambi City Police has intensified efforts to combat drug abuse and the illegal distribution of narcotics through the implementation of Operation Antik Siginjai 2026. As part of the operation, officers conducted raids at several rented rooms and guesthouses within the jurisdiction of Jambi City.

The raid was carried out on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time). Investigators from the Satresnarkoba Polresta Jambi inspected two guesthouses located in the Jelutung and Danau Sipin districts of Jambi City.

During the operation, police officers checked the occupants of the accommodations and conducted urine tests to identify possible cases of drug consumption.

Guesthouse Residents Test Positive for Narcotics

The first location targeted in the raid was Alpine Guesthouse, located on Jalan Sri Gunting, Lebak Bandung Subdistrict, Jelutung District, Jambi City.

At the location, officers detained eight occupants consisting of four men and four women. All individuals were examined and required to undergo urine tests to determine possible involvement in drug use.

The examination results showed that two women identified by the initials CD and I, along with a man identified as FH, tested positive for narcotics. Meanwhile, other occupants with the initials SA, I, RS, and MA tested negative.

During the inspection of an occupant identified as RWA, officers discovered six packages suspected of containing narcotics. Police then conducted an initial interview with RWA.

Based on the questioning, RWA allegedly admitted that he was still keeping narcotics inside his residence. Following the information obtained, officers continued their investigation by searching RWA's house located on Jalan Syamsul Bahri RT 19, Payo Lebar Subdistrict, Jelutung District, Jambi City.

House Search Uncovers Suspected Methamphetamine and Drug Distribution Equipment

The Satresnarkoba Polresta Jambi team searched RWA's residence in the presence of his wife. During the search, officers found several items allegedly linked to illegal narcotics distribution activities.

The confiscated evidence included four packages suspected to contain methamphetamine (shabu), two digital scales, one medium-sized package containing plastic clips, two small packages containing plastic clips, a green fabric bag, and a notebook containing records believed to be related to shabu sales transactions.

The evidence was secured by police for further investigation. Investigators are continuing their inquiry to determine the origin of the illegal substances and identify possible links to wider drug trafficking networks.

After the raid was completed, all detained individuals and the seized evidence were taken to the Satresnarkoba Polresta Jambi office for further examination.

Second Guesthouse Shows No Evidence of Drug Activity

The police then continued the operation at the second location, Arpan Guesthouse, located on Jalan Slamet Riyadi, Solok Sipin Subdistrict, Danau Sipin District, Jambi City.

At this location, officers inspected the occupants and the surrounding area of the guesthouse. However, police found no indications of drug abuse or evidence related to narcotics offenses.

Polresta Jambi stated that Operation Antik Siginjai 2026 is part of an ongoing effort to suppress narcotics abuse and illegal drug distribution in Jambi City.

Through these measures, police also aim to maintain public security and order while limiting the movement and activities of drug dealers. (IDNC)
