DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM – The Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Deli Serdang officially approved the Regent's Accountability Report (LKPJ) for the 2025 fiscal year during a plenary session held at the DPRD Building in Deli Serdang on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
The plenary session was chaired by Deputy Speaker of the DPRD Agustiawan Saragih along with other members of the regional legislature. The approval was granted following a comprehensive review and evaluation of the regional government's performance throughout 2025.
Deputy Regent of Deli Serdang Lom Lom Suwondo attended the session on behalf of Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan. In his remarks, he acknowledged that the regional administration continued to face various challenges and shortcomings during 2025.

However, he emphasized that the report contained important information regarding governance, development policies, and community programs aligned with the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD).
"The Deli Serdang Regency Government extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to the leadership and all members of the DPRD for the recommendations regarding the 2025 fiscal year LKPJ," he said.

Evaluation of Government Performance
Lom Lom Suwondo stated that the DPRD's recommendations and suggestions would serve as a foundation for improving future government performance.
According to him, the regional government encountered several obstacles throughout 2025, while also achieving positive results, particularly in regional revenue and local tax income.
He added that regional development requires strong support from the Regional Budget (APBD), public participation, and contributions from the private sector to ensure development programs are implemented effectively.

Call for Stronger Collaboration
During the session, Lom Lom Suwondo also called on all elements of society to strengthen collaboration and synergy in supporting sustainable development in Deli Serdang Regency.

"I invite all stakeholders to continue strengthening synergy and cooperation in realizing the vision and mission of better development for Deli Serdang Regency," he stated.
Appreciation for Forkopimda and the Public
At the conclusion of his speech, the Deputy Regent expressed appreciation to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), community organizations, non-governmental organizations, journalists, and the people of Deli Serdang for their continued support of governance and regional development programs.
