JAKARTA | INDATANEWS.COM - Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower is providing three official support channels for businesses experiencing difficulties submitting their mandatory company employment reports, known as Wajib Lapor Ketenagakerjaan Perusahaan (WLKP), online. The initiative aims to help businesses fulfil their reporting obligations correctly and on time, while also improving the accuracy of national employment data.
Ismail Pakaya, Director General for the Supervision of Working Conditions, Occupational Safety and Health, announced the information in a press release issued by the Ministry of Manpower's Press and Public Relations Bureau on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
Ismail explained that businesses could use three official channels to obtain information and assistance if they encountered obstacles when submitting their WLKP reports. These include submitting complaints by email, receiving face-to-face assistance and accessing online guidance on the reporting process.
"We provide three support channels so that businesses can obtain information and assistance when they encounter difficulties with WLKP reporting," Ismail said.
The provision of these services forms part of the government's efforts to make it easier for businesses to fulfil their administrative obligations under labour regulations. By establishing clearly defined support channels, the ministry aims to help businesses resolve technical problems and obtain clarification about reporting procedures without neglecting their existing obligations.
The first option allows businesses to submit complaints by email. Companies experiencing difficulties with WLKP reporting can send their concerns to pengaduanwlkp@kemnaker.go.id. This communication channel enables businesses to request assistance without having to visit the Ministry of Manpower in person.
Businesses should describe the problems they encounter as clearly and accurately as possible. This will help the relevant officials understand the circumstances and provide appropriate guidance. Providing precise information can also help ensure that complaints are handled more efficiently.
The second option is face-to-face assistance at the Integrated Service Centre of the Ministry of Manpower, located on the first floor of Building B. Businesses can visit the centre to obtain explanations and assistance concerning WLKP reporting.
In addition to visiting the ministry's central office, businesses can contact the WLKP administration unit responsible for their business location at the relevant provincial office of manpower and transmigration. This enables them to obtain information and guidance through labour authorities operating in their respective regions.
These two consultation options provide businesses with additional ways to resolve reporting difficulties. Depending on their needs and accessibility, companies can choose between the central service centre and the relevant regional labour authorities.

The third option consists of guidance and information explaining the WLKP submission procedure. These resources are available on the official website at https://panduan.kemnaker.go.id/panduan/46.
Using the guidance provided, businesses can follow the individual stages of the reporting process and refer to the available information when fulfilling their administrative obligations under labour regulations. Online access also allows them to find the information they need without having to visit a service centre every time they require assistance.
Businesses are encouraged to review the available guidance before submitting their reports. This is particularly important when they are uncertain about specific procedural steps or administrative requirements. If the guidance does not resolve their difficulties, they can subsequently contact the relevant officials through the complaints channel or arrange an in-person consultation.
By combining a complaints mechanism, face-to-face assistance and online guidance, the ministry aims to make official information and support more accessible to businesses. These options give companies several ways to seek help whenever they encounter difficulties submitting their reports.
The Ministry of Manpower has also reminded businesses that easier access to assistance must be accompanied by a willingness to fulfil their reporting obligations. Compliance is important to ensure that employment data is collected systematically and that the government has reliable information about conditions in the labour market.

Ismail emphasised that WLKP plays an important role in documenting the structure of employment and protecting workers. He therefore urged businesses to take their reporting obligations seriously and make use of the official support channels whenever they encounter difficulties.
"WLKP is crucial for documenting the employment structure and protecting workers. We therefore urge businesses to use the official support channels we have provided whenever they encounter difficulties," Ismail said.
Accurate employment data provides an important foundation for implementing labour market policies. Reports submitted by businesses can give the government an overview of employment conditions and serve as a source of information for carrying out its duties and responsibilities in labour administration.
Conversely, if reporting difficulties are not resolved promptly, businesses may struggle to fulfil their administrative obligations. Companies should therefore make full use of the available support services to prevent technical or procedural problems from causing delays in submitting their reports.
The Ministry of Manpower hopes that all businesses will fulfil their WLKP reporting obligations within the stipulated deadlines. The government has also encouraged companies to use the available support channels whenever they require information or assistance.
Through these measures, the ministry aims to encourage more consistent compliance with reporting requirements while continuing to improve the quality of Indonesia's national employment data. Accurate information and an orderly reporting process are essential foundations for effective labour inspection and the protection of workers throughout Indonesia. (IDNC)
