In his opening remarks, Mualem emphasized that the Musrenbang RKPA serves as a crucial coordination platform to align Aceh's development agenda with national priorities. He stressed that development policies must be precisely directed to ensure tangible benefits for the community.

He also highlighted that the 2027 development agenda carries the theme.

Rp 40 Trillion Needed for Reconstruction Acceleration

Mualem revealed that Aceh requires approximately Rp 40 trillion to accelerate post-disaster recovery efforts. He noted that current funding levels remain insufficient to fully restore affected regions.

"All stakeholders present today must work together to find the best solutions for Aceh," he said.

The governor further explained that current central government support mainly covers basic needs such as food and clothing, while critical infrastructure recovery—particularly bridges and roads—remains slow.

In several remote areas, residents still rely on simple rafts to cross rivers. Mualem expressed hope that these conditions would improve within this year.

He also raised concerns over worsening environmental conditions, including river expansion and poorly regulated coastal estuaries (kuala), which contribute to rising flood risks. These issues have also disrupted fishing activities, forcing fishermen to wait for high tide to go to sea.

The Aceh government has attempted to secure approval for dredging operations in coastal estuaries. However, Mualem warned that without swift intervention, potential disasters could worsen. He urged support from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to ensure sustainable long-term solutions. (IDNC)
