She emphasized that the event was not merely a competition, but also encouraged cadres to expand their knowledge and skills, strengthen their commitment, and foster solidarity in providing services to the community.
Jelita expressed her appreciation while presenting awards to the winners of the competition for Posyandu cadres and village midwives organized by YNLM at Balairung on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. On the occasion, Jelita was accompanied by Expert I of the PKK Working Team, Asniar Lom Lom Suwondo.Jelita also congratulated all the winners, particularly the YNLM-supported cadres from several subdistricts in Deli Serdang Regency who achieved success in the competition. In her view, their achievements were also attributable to the guidance provided by PKK Working Teams at the subdistrict level.
"Congratulations to all the winners. This is an achievement and a source of pride for the respective chairwomen of the subdistrict PKK Working Teams who have guided their cadres, enabling them to receive the attention and confidence to participate in this competition," she said. She urged all cadres to use the experience gained during the competition as a foundation for continued learning and skills development. In her view, the learning process should not end once participants leave the venue.
"We should not learn only because of a competition. When we leave this building, the knowledge we have gained must be applied throughout the community. What we have learned must not remain only here," she stressed.Jelita expressed hope that the cadres would apply the knowledge they had gained in their daily work. At the same time, she encouraged them to share this knowledge with residents in their respective villages and subdistricts so that the positive impact of the event could reach a wider community.
In addition to commending the cadres, Jelita also thanked YNLM for its cooperation with the Deli Serdang Regency Government in organizing the event. She described collaboration between the regional government and community organizations as important in strengthening public services, including the development of Posyandu programs."Thank you to YNLM for entrusting Deli Serdang with the opportunity to hold this event. I hope this cooperation will continue in developing programs in Deli Serdang Regency, particularly Posyandu programs," she said.

The six areas include health, education, social affairs, public works, public housing, as well as security, public order and community protection. The expansion of responsibilities requires Posyandu cadres to have broader knowledge so they can assist residents in accessing basic services according to their respective needs.
According to Jelita, cadres must understand the needs of residents at different stages of life. These include pregnancy, infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age. With the expansion of their responsibilities, cadres have an important role in supporting the government in providing basic services to the community.Jelita particularly reminded cadres to ensure that infants and children receive optimal basic services. She placed particular emphasis on ensuring complete immunization as part of efforts to prevent disease and protect public health.
"The most important thing is that our babies do not miss any of their complete immunizations. This is part of our efforts to prevent diseases and extraordinary outbreaks in Deli Serdang Regency," she said. She hopes that cadres will not only understand their administrative duties but will also be able to comprehensively identify the needs of the community. According to Jelita, Posyandu cadres hold a strategic position because they interact directly with residents and are among the key actors advancing basic services at the village level.

According to her, the spirit of competition should motivate all cadres to keep learning continuously. She hopes that the event organized by YNLM will contribute in the long term to improving the quality of mentoring and training for Posyandu cadres across Deli Serdang Regency.
Jelita also underscored the importance of sincerity, commitment and solidarity in carrying out their duties. She believes that strong cooperation among cadres and all stakeholders will help the government achieve its goals in providing better services to the community."The most important thing is to work sincerely, with commitment and in unity. If we stand together, I am convinced that we can achieve great and extraordinary things," she concluded.
Through the quiz and jingle competitions for Posyandu cadres, YNLM and the Deli Serdang Regency Government not only provided cadres with a platform to demonstrate their abilities, but also promoted a culture of learning and positive competition. This spirit is expected to continue in the delivery of Posyandu services in villages and subdistricts, ensuring that efforts to strengthen cadres' competencies keep pace with the growing demands for basic services for the community.
