During the visit, he also distributed emergency relief supplies to residents impacted by the disaster.

A field assessment revealed significant damage across several residential houses. Roofs were torn off, walls were damaged, and household belongings were destroyed after the extreme winds swept through the area in a matter of moments.
The on-site inspection was carried out to accelerate data collection and ensure that assistance is delivered accurately and efficiently.
Relief Assistance Delivered to Residents
The Labuhanbatu Selatan government has begun distributing construction materials to support the reconstruction of damaged homes. The initiative aims to help affected families return to normal life as quickly as possible.

Basic food assistance, including rice supplies, was also provided to ensure immediate household needs are met during the emergency period. One of the residents, Patek Muhammad Siregar, expressed deep gratitude for the support received.

During his dialogue with residents, the Regent emphasized the government's commitment to rapid response in disaster situations.

He also warned of increasing extreme weather patterns linked to climate change and urged communities to remain vigilant, noting that Kotapinang is an area prone to hydrometeorological disasters.
