LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The spirit of the 2026 Pancasila Commemoration in South Labuhanbatu Regency was not only marked by formal ceremonies. Instead, it was brought closer to the younger generation through a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang E-Sports tournament organized by the DPD SAPMA IPK (Satuan Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Ikatan Pemuda Karya) of South Labuhanbatu. The two-day event was held on June 1–2, 2026, at Café Pinang Raja 2 in Kota Pinang.
Teams from various subdistricts and youth organizations competed in a lively atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, competitive spirit, and strong sportsmanship. The Chairman of DPD SAPMA IPK South Labuhanbatu, Aroma Syahputra, expressed his appreciation to the Deputy Regent of South Labuhanbatu, Syahdian Purba Siboro, who attended the event and personally motivated the participants."We sincerely thank the Deputy Regent of South Labuhanbatu, Mr. Syahdian Purba Siboro, for his support and encouragement to all participants. His presence was truly inspiring," Aroma Syahputra said.
Organizers emphasized that the tournament was not merely entertainment but also a platform to empower young people in the rapidly growing E-Sports industry. The competition helped develop strategic thinking, teamwork, communication, discipline, and responsibility among participants."This tournament is more than just a game competition. It builds teamwork, discipline, strategy, fairness, and perseverance—important values for the younger generation," the organizers added.
The Deputy Regent of South Labuhanbatu, Syahdian Purba Siboro—who also serves as the Chairman of the IPK Advisory Board—praised the initiative as a meaningful effort to strengthen youth solidarity.
"Winning or losing is part of competition. What matters most is maintaining spirit, strengthening friendship, and upholding sportsmanship," he stated.He also reminded IPK members to act with maturity, patience, and responsibility within the organization, while avoiding destructive behavior.
"Do not be easily emotional or engage in anarchic actions. Love your organization by acting responsibly and with maturity," he emphasized.
Grand Final Concludes with Strong Support
The tournament followed a knockout system and featured intense matches from the opening day. In the grand final, Team BJR/KNPI secured first place. Team IPHONE finished in second place, while PAC Sungai Kanan claimed third place.Representing the winning team, Nanda Harahap expressed gratitude for the initiative.
