LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – As part of the commemoration of Pancasila Day, Satuan Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Ikatan Pemuda Karya (SAPMA IPK) of Labuhanbatu Selatan District organized an e-sports tournament featuring Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The competition was held over two days, June 1–2, 2026, at Café Pinang Raja 2 in Kota Pinang.
The tournament brought together students from various regions across Labuhanbatu Selatan, competing in one of the most popular mobile e-sports titles. Beyond competition, the event also served as a platform to develop young digital talent.Promoting Sportsmanship and Pancasila Values
The event highlighted sportsmanship, unity, and healthy competition in line with the core values of Pancasila. SAPMA IPK Labusel emphasized its commitment to nurturing potential e-sports athletes capable of competing at regional and national levels.The organizing committee chair stated that the rapid growth of the e-sports industry offers significant opportunities for young people in the digital era.
"This tournament is not only about gaming competition, but also about character building—strengthening teamwork, discipline, strategy, and healthy competition," he said.
Strong Support and Official Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony was held formally and attended by numerous local officials and organizational representatives, including DPD Chairman Repol Mahdan Harahap, the DPD treasurer, DPC representatives, sub-organizations across Labuhanbatu Selatan, Kota Pinang Mayor Mirwan Siregar, Head of the IPK Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Ferdiansyah Putra, LBH Secretary Tommy Gunawan, S.H., and other invited guests.Their presence underscored strong support for creative and educational youth programs aligned with the digital era.
Café Pinang Raja 2 as Strategic VenueCafé Pinang Raja 2 was chosen for its comfortable environment for participants and visitors, as well as adequate parking facilities that supported smooth event mobility.
On the first day, enthusiasm was clearly visible as teams from different regions competed in intense matches, showcasing strong tactical skills and teamwork in pursuit of victory.
Pancasila as a Guiding Value for Youth Development
The Pancasila Day commemoration served as the central theme of the tournament. SAPMA IPK Labusel stressed that young people must not only be digitally skilled but also continue to uphold national values.The event aims to strengthen friendships among students and foster a creative, innovative, and competitive generation ready to face modern challenges without losing the spirit of national unity.
