BATUBARA | INDATANEWS.COM - Athletes from Dojo Alfarizi achieved notable results at the INKANAS Karate Championship for students from across North Sumatra, competing for the Batubara Regent's Cup. The competition, held on September 19 and 20, 2026, at the Fosco Futsal Court in Batubara, North Sumatra, saw several Dojo Alfarizi athletes win medals in various categories.
Hundreds of young karate athletes from different dojos and karate organizations across several areas of North Sumatra took part in the championship. The competition was highly competitive, with participants determined to demonstrate their best abilities, secure titles and measure the results of their respective training programs.Amid the strong competition, athletes from Dojo Alfarizi performed with confidence. Regular training, discipline and parental support were important factors that helped the athletes deliver their best performances from the opening rounds of the competition.
The competition results demonstrated the consistency of Dojo Alfarizi athletes in facing opponents across different age groups and weight classes. Hani Az Zahra was among the successful athletes, securing first place in the women's Cadet class up to 47 kilograms.
Another achievement came from Ilyas Alif Saputra, who won first place in the men's Beginner class up to 40 kilograms. Ilyasa Alif Saputra achieved two results in the championship. He finished third in the men's Performance class up to 40 kilograms and also won first place in the men's Festival category up to 40 kilograms.Haikal Alif Saputra also delivered a strong performance. He finished third in the youngest age-group class up to 30 kilograms for men. In addition, he secured first place in the men's Festival category up to 30 kilograms.
Luqman Habibie Alif Saputra also participated in the championship, competing in the men's Pra Usia Dini class up to 25 kilograms. The participation of athletes from various age groups shows that Dojo Alfarizi's youth development program is gradually being established from an early age.These results strengthen Dojo Alfarizi's record in developing young karate athletes. The dojo's program is not solely focused on achieving success at the regional level, but also aims to produce athletes capable of competing at provincial and national levels.
Senpai Sanusi, coach of Dojo Alfarizi, expressed his gratitude and pride over his athletes' performances at the championship. He said the achievements were the result of a consistent training process and support from various parties involved in the athletes' development.
"These achievements are the fruits of hard work, discipline, as well as the full support of the parents and everyone involved. We are very proud and hope this will motivate us to continue training even harder," he said.According to Sanusi, competition results serve not only as a measure of the athletes' abilities in competition but also as part of an evaluation of the youth development program carried out so far.
