Polda Jambi Honors Aipda Arjunif for Kompolnas Award 2026

JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) honored Aipda Arjunif, S.I.P., a Bhabinkamtibmas officer assigned to the Bathin II Bebeko Police Sector (Polsek) under the Bungo Police Resort (Polres), for his outstanding achievement at the 2026 Kompolnas Award. Arjunif won first place in the individual "Perseorangan Peace" category.

Jambi Police Chief Inspector General Krisno H. Siregar personally presented the award on Monday, September 21, 2026, during the morning roll call for Polda Jambi personnel at the Black Field of the Jambi Police headquarters. Senior Polda Jambi officials, middle-ranking police officers and numerous personnel attended the ceremony.

Recognition for Dedication and Achievement

Inspector General Krisno said the award presentation was not merely a ceremonial event, but also a form of recognition for the dedication and achievements of police personnel. Aipda Arjunif's success at the 2026 Kompolnas Award demonstrated that police officers could serve the community through various fields.

"The presentation of this award is not an ordinary event, but a form of recognition and appreciation for the dedication and achievements of police officers. It is particularly noteworthy that Aipda Arjunif was named the best in the 'Perseorangan Peace' category at the Kompolnas Award," Inspector General Krisno said.

Inspector General Krisno said he was proud of Aipda Arjunif's achievement. He explained that the award demonstrated how police service was not limited to law enforcement. Community engagement, communication, public services and various activities that directly benefit society were also important forms of police service.

"I am pleased and proud because a member of Polda Jambi has demonstrated his achievement and dedication and has received recognition at the national level. I believe there are still many police officers who do good work and make their best efforts for the community, even though not all of them receive public attention," he said.

Inspector General Krisno then urged all police personnel to maintain their commitment while carrying out their duties. Every officer, he said, must work with discipline and responsibility while maintaining the trust placed in them by both the institution and the public.

"Continue doing good without having to be told to do so. Carry out your duties with discipline and never betray the trust that has been entrusted to you. Work sincerely, give your best in every task and never stop doing good," he stressed.

In connection with the achievement, Inspector General Krisno also praised the Bungo Police Chief and the entire staff for their support of Aipda Arjunif, which contributed to his success at the national level.

In addition to presenting the award to Aipda Arjunif, the Jambi Police Chief also issued several directives to police units regarding the implementation of their duties. One of the directives concerned the implementation of Kegiatan Rutin yang Ditingkatkan, or KRYD, by Polres and Polresta units throughout the jurisdiction of Polda Jambi.

KRYD and Forest and Land Fire Prevention

Inspector General Krisno appreciated the implementation of KRYD by police units to maintain public security and order. He said the measures had helped curb activities involving groups of children and motorcycle groups that could potentially disrupt public security and order.

"I appreciate the implementation of KRYD by the Polres and Polresta units throughout the jurisdiction of Polda Jambi, which has helped curb activities involving groups of children and motorcycle groups that could potentially disturb public security and order. In addition to public security issues, Inspector General Krisno also placed particular emphasis on tackling forest and land fires, known as Karhutla, in Jambi Province. He instructed police units to strengthen prevention efforts, improve early detection and map areas with a high risk of fires.

Inspector General Krisno also called on personnel to intensify coordination with relevant agencies and respond quickly to every Karhutla incident. He emphasized that police personnel must be deployed to the field to ensure an effective response to fires.

"In dealing with forest and land fires, we must carry out early detection and map areas with potential fire risks. Coordinate with the relevant agencies, respond quickly and deploy personnel to the field to tackle the fires," he stressed.

The Jambi Police Chief subsequently instructed the Criminal Investigation Directorate of Polda Jambi (Ditreskrimsus) to investigate every forest and land fire incident. Criminal proceedings are to be initiated if the investigation finds indications of a criminal offense.

"Ditreskrimsus Polda Jambi must investigate every forest and land fire incident. If indications of a criminal offense are found, immediate action must be taken in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations," Inspector General Krisno said in closing.

Polda Jambi hopes Aipda Arjunif's achievement at the 2026 Kompolnas Award will motivate other police officers to continuously improve the quality of their work and services.
