ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Aceh Police, through the Kebayakan Sector Police (Polsek Kebayakan), held a "Safari Subuh" (Dawn Prayer Safari) at Al-Abrar Mosque in Gunung Balohen Village, Kebayakan District, on Wednesday morning, April 22, 2026.
The event, which began at 5:00 a.m. local time, is part of a community engagement program rooted in religious values. It brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including local government officials, community leaders, and representatives from academic and religious institutions such as the State Islamic Institute of Takengon (IAIN Takengon) and the Indonesian Mosque Council.

Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Taufiq, represented by Kebayakan Police Chief AKP Akhir Harsa, S.Sos, attended the event alongside several regional leaders. Among those present were the Regent of Aceh Tengah, the Deputy Police Chief, the Rector of IAIN Takengon, the Chairperson of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Aceh Tengah, the Head of the Ulama Council (MPU), and the Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Aceh Tengah.
The presence of these diverse institutions highlighted strong synergy between law enforcement, government, and the community in maintaining regional stability.

Public Safety Appeal
During the gathering, AKP Akhir Harsa delivered key messages regarding public security and order (Kamtibmas). He urged residents to avoid actions that violate religious and legal norms, including behaviors that could lead to criminal activity.
"We call on all elements of society to work together in maintaining security and order to create a safe and conducive environment, especially in Aceh Tengah," he stated.

Beyond conveying security messages, the Dawn Prayer Safari also aimed to strengthen social ties between the police and the community. The visible presence of law enforcement officers in religious and social activities helps enhance public trust and fosters a stronger sense of security among residents
