ACEH BARAT | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Police in Aceh Barat carried out monitoring of fuel prices and distribution at public fuel stations (SPBU) on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the late afternoon.
The operation aimed to ensure a stable fuel supply and smooth distribution despite recent price adjustments announced by the central government.
Monitoring at Key Fuel Stations
Aceh Barat Police Chief AKBP Yhogi Hadisetiawan stated that the monitoring was conducted at SPBU Manekroo and SPBU Kuta Padang starting at around 5:00 p.m. WIB. Officers were deployed directly to the field to oversee distribution and maintain order.
"Fuel reserves at both stations are secure and sufficient to meet public demand," AKBP Yhogi Hadisetiawan said in an official statement.
Fuel Stocks Remain Secure
At SPBU Manekroo, recorded fuel inventories included 13,697 liters of Pertamax, 12,532 liters of Pertalite, 15,503 liters of Bio Solar, 5,182 liters of Dexlite, and 734 liters of Pertamax Turbo. The station also receives a weekly diesel supply of approximately 48,000 liters.
Meanwhile, SPBU Kuta Padang reported stable stock levels, consisting of 23,220 liters of Pertalite, 13,768 liters of Pertamax, 13,301 liters of Bio Solar, 8,795 liters of Dexlite, 1,752 liters of Pertamina Dex, and 1,697 liters of Pertamax Turbo. The station also receives around 48,000 liters of diesel weekly.
Authorities confirmed that all SPBU facilities in Aceh Barat are capable of meeting public demand without disruption.
Subsidized Fuel Prices Remain Unchanged
According to AKBP Yhogi Hadisetiawan, subsidized fuel prices remain unchanged. Pertalite is still priced at IDR 10,000 per liter, diesel at IDR 6,800 per liter, and Pertamax at IDR 12,600 per liter.
However, non-subsidized fuel products have experienced price adjustments. Pertamax Turbo now costs IDR 19,850 per liter, Pertamina Dex is priced at IDR 24,450, and Dexlite at IDR 24,150.
The police urged the public to remain calm and avoid panic buying, emphasizing that fuel distribution remains stable and well-controlled. "The situation throughout the monitoring process was calm, with no long queues or distribution disruptions," AKBP Yhogi said. (IDNC)
