ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Polres Aceh Tengah carried out a series of school visits on Monday morning (April 6, 2026) as part of the "Saweu Sikula" program, aiming to تعزيز student awareness and strengthen collaboration between law enforcement and the education sector.

Police officers took on roles as ceremony leaders during school assemblies, delivering key messages on discipline, safety, and character building to students across several schools.

In his remarks, Junaidi urged students to maintain discipline, avoid bullying, and adhere to school regulations. He also emphasized the importance of a smoke-free lifestyle and road safety, including wearing helmets while riding.

"Be educated and strong in character, because you are the future of the nation," Junaidi told students during the ceremony.

Raising Awareness on Drug Dangers

Similar activities were conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Takengon, where Aiptu Supiandi Cibro served as ceremony leader, and at SD Negeri 4 in Rusip Antara District, led by Ipda Sunarto.

Sunarto highlighted the importance of early discipline, respect for teachers, and compliance with school rules. He also educated students about the dangers of drug abuse, warning that it can harm health, jeopardize the future, and even lead to death.

Encouraging Positive Student Activities

Police officers encouraged students to engage in positive activities such as studying, sports, and developing personal talents. They also called on students to become role models in the fight against drugs, both in school and in their communities.

Polres Aceh Tengah Chief, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, through Public Relations Officer Iptu Rasimin, stated that "Saweu Sikula" is a routine program focused on education and character development.

"This initiative aims to foster discipline, strengthen legal awareness, and shape a generation that is both ethical and high-achieving," Rasimin said.

He added that the presence of police in schools is intended not only to create a sense of security but also to inspire students to pursue their future goals. (IDNC)
