ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - Personnel from the Silih Nara Police Sector (Polsek Silih Nara), under the jurisdiction of the Aceh Tengah Police (Polres Aceh Tengah), carried out a morning Strong Point activity to regulate traffic on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The operation was conducted along the Takengon–Angkup road, directly in front of SD Kampung Burni Bius, Silih Nara District, Aceh Tengah Regency.
The activity began at 7:00 a.m. WIB and focused on the period when community mobility was at its highest. The presence of police officers at the location was aimed at assisting road users, particularly students, employees, and residents who were starting their daily activities in the morning.During the operation, Aiptu Pariyandi and Brigadir Hari Saputra were assigned to manage traffic flow to ensure orderly and smooth movement of vehicles. The officers also assisted students in safely crossing the road and provided greater security for members of the public passing through the area.
The morning Strong Point activity is a form of police service aimed at maintaining security, protection, public order, and smooth traffic conditions. The deployment of police personnel at points with high traffic density is intended to prevent potential disruptions, including congestion and traffic accidents.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H., through Silih Nara Police Chief Iptu Samsul Bahri Bangun, stated that the morning Strong Point activity is a routine police service that demonstrates the presence of law enforcement officers in serving the community.
"Our personnel are present to help manage traffic flow while providing a sense of security for students and residents who are active in the morning. Police presence at locations with high traffic volume is expected to prevent congestion and traffic accidents," said Iptu Samsul Bahri Bangun.According to him, police services during morning rush hours are part of efforts to maintain public order and provide comfort for residents as they carry out their daily activities.
Traffic management activities also reflect the commitment of Polres Aceh Tengah to building closer relations with the community through direct services in the field.He explained that the presence of officers at various busy traffic points is a preventive measure to create safer and more comfortable road conditions for all road users.
"The morning service activities will continue to be carried out consistently. This represents the commitment of Polres Aceh Tengah to providing humane and responsive police services, as well as realizing security, protection, public order, and smooth traffic conditions within its jurisdiction," said IPTU Samsul Bahri Bangun.Through this Strong Point activity, Polsek Silih Nara hopes the community will increasingly feel the benefits of police presence as a form of protection, assistance, and service, especially during times when traffic regulation is needed.
