BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM -PERWOSI Aceh has officially appointed new leadership for the 2026–2030 term. Mukarramah Fadhlullah was unanimously elected as chairperson during the Provincial Conference (Musyawarah Provinsi/Musprov) held at the Dharma Wanita Persatuan hall in Banda Aceh.
The decision, reached without contest, reflected a strong consensus among participants and underscored solid support from women's organizations as well as sports stakeholders across Aceh.
This year's Musprov became a defining moment for the organization's strategic direction. Delegates agreed on the leadership selection through consensus, signaling continuity and collective confidence in Mukarramah Fadhlullah's appointment. The outcome was widely seen as a symbol of organizational unity and stability.

Broad Participation Strengthens Legitimacy
The meeting was attended by key figures including Malayati M. Nasir, Chairperson of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Aceh, outgoing PERWOSI Aceh Chair for 2022–2026 Dr. Ir. Dyah Erti Idawati, M.T., as well as representatives from district and municipal PERWOSI chapters throughout Aceh. Various sports sector stakeholders also joined the forum, supporting the leadership transition process.
Focus on Women, Sport, and Family Health
In her first remarks after being elected, Mukarramah Fadhlullah expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her and emphasized her commitment to leading the organization with integrity and dedication.
"The mandate entrusted to me is a significant responsibility, which I will carry out wholeheartedly to advance the organization," she said.
She also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing leadership under Dr. Dyah Erti Idawati, noting that their work had laid a strong foundation for future development.
Strengthening Women's Sports Movement
Aligning with the national vision for 2025–2029, PERWOSI Aceh aims to promote healthy, strong, and empowered women as key drivers of family well-being. Mukarramah highlighted the role of "Inong Aceh" as central figures in community and family-based sports activities.
Upcoming programs include "Senam Inong Aceh" in villages, "Family Fun Walk" events in Blang Padang, and creative sports-based dance competitions for young women and mothers. Training and certification programs for female sports officials, including referees and coaches, will also be expanded.

Cross-Sector Collaboration for Sustainable Impact
Mukarramah emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration involving PKK, health authorities, youth and sports agencies, KONI Aceh, and the private sector. She stressed that only through collective effort can a healthier and more active society be achieved.
"I invite all PERWOSI Aceh members to work together in developing programs that bring real benefits to women, families, and the wider community," she stated.
With the new leadership in place, PERWOSI Aceh expressed optimism in strengthening its role as a driving force for healthy lifestyles among women and families. Continuous evaluation and measurable social impact will remain key priorities in the coming years. (IDNC)
