INAUGURATION OF NEW INPATIENT BUILDING: Deli Serdang Regent dr H Asri Ludin Tambunan inaugurates the two-story inpatient building at RSUD Pancur Batu, built through a partnership between the regional government and PT Galatta Lestarindo.

PANCUR BATU | INDATANEWS.COM The Regent of Deli Serdang, dr H Asri Ludin Tambunan, officially inaugurated a new two-story inpatient building at RSUD Pancur Batu on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The event also marked the opening of a Medical Check-Up (MCU) facility and the groundbreaking ceremony for a new perimeter fence and main gate.

The development project is a joint initiative between the Government of Deli Serdang Regency and PT Galatta Lestarindo, reflecting a collaborative approach to improving regional healthcare infrastructure.

Deputy Regent Lom Lom Suwondo, TP PKK Deli Serdang Chairperson Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan, and PT Galatta Lestarindo representative Anwar Effendi also attended the ceremony, highlighting strong multi-stakeholder support for healthcare advancement in the region.

Strengthening Public-Private Partnership

In his remarks, Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan emphasized that the local government continues to strengthen cooperation with the private sector to accelerate development, particularly in public service sectors.

He noted that well-coordinated partnerships can deliver tangible benefits to the community by streamlining development processes and reducing bureaucratic barriers.

"The Government of Deli Serdang is open to entrepreneurs who wish to contribute to regional development. When communication runs effectively and bureaucratic obstacles are minimized, such collaborations can produce real and meaningful outcomes for society," he said.

The Regent also urged the management of RSUD Pancur Batu to continuously improve the quality of its healthcare services.

He stressed the importance of developing the hospital into a leading healthcare facility capable of serving not only residents of Pancur Batu but also surrounding areas such as Sibolangit, STM Hilir, STM Hulu, and Kutalimbaru.

"I believe RSUD Pancur Batu will become a high-quality public healthcare center for the community," he stated.

PT Galatta Lestarindo representative Anwar Effendi explained that the construction of the two-story inpatient building was carried out under the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

He added that the initiative is part of the company's long-term commitment to supporting healthcare improvement in Deli Serdang and serves as a dedication in memory of his late mother, Teng Ke Lam.
