MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM – North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution visited the headquarters of PT Antar Lintas Sumatera (ALS) following a fatal bus accident involving ALS Bus No. 346 BK 7778 DL on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Musi Rawas Utara (Muratara), South Sumatra. The visit aimed to ensure swift and coordinated assistance for victims and their families.
During his visit, Bobby Nasution held discussions with PT ALS management, victims' families, the North Sumatra Regional Land Transportation Organization (Organda), and the regional office of Jasa Raharja. He emphasized the importance of smooth procedures, from victim identification to the repatriation of remains to their respective home regions."We extend our deepest condolences to the families. The North Sumatra Provincial Government is present to ensure that both survivors and the deceased are properly handled and returned home," Bobby said at the PT ALS office on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Medan.

PT ALS Director Chandra Lubis expressed condolences for the victims of the Medan–Semarang route accident. He confirmed that response teams were immediately deployed to the affected area to collect data and assist families."Our teams on the ground are also helping families with travel arrangements to South Sumatra," he said.
