BENER MERIAH | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Indonesia's Home Affairs Minister, Tito Karnavian, together with Aceh Vice Governor Fadhlullah, conducted an inspection of several disaster-affected areas in Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah regencies on Monday, April 20, 2026.
The visit forms part of coordinated efforts between the central government and the Aceh provincial administration to accelerate disaster response, restore damaged infrastructure, and ensure aid distribution reaches affected communities efficiently.Assessing Critical Infrastructure After Disaster

The Regent of Bener Meriah, along with members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), accompanied the delegation. The joint presence of central and regional authorities highlights a strong commitment to fast-track the recovery of critical infrastructure.

The delegation then proceeded to the Tunyang temporary shelter (Huntara) in Timang Gajah District. During the visit, Tito Karnavian and Fadhlullah symbolically handed over aid packages to disaster victims.
The assistance is intended to ensure that the basic needs of displaced residents are met during both the emergency and recovery phases, while also demonstrating the government's continued support.Accelerating Response and Mitigating Future Risks
