MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Governor of North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution, has called for stronger collaboration with the Regional Executive Board of the National Creative Economy Movement (DPW Gekrafs North Sumatra) to accelerate the development of the creative economy and elevate local entrepreneurs to a higher level.
The call was delivered during an official reception at the Governor's Office on Jalan Diponegoro No. 30, Medan, on Friday, April 17, 2026. The meeting focused on strategic synergy between the provincial government and Gekrafs to strengthen North Sumatra's creative sector.Collaboration to Strengthen the Creative Economy

He also encouraged Gekrafs to go beyond organizational networking by providing educational programs and research initiatives that deliver tangible benefits to the wider community."We hope there will be more educational programs or studies on the creative economy that have a real impact on society," he added.

Bobby further invited Gekrafs North Sumatra to actively participate in strengthening local products and small businesses. The goal is to empower small entrepreneurs and prepare them for sustainable growth.
