HAJJ PILGRIMS READY FOR DEPARTURE: A total of 107 prospective pilgrims from KBIHU Ar Raudhah Ibnu Halim are set to depart from Medan embarkation point in three flight groups after completing 16 manasik training sessions.

MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM ~ A total of 107 prospective Hajj pilgrims from the KBIHU Ar Raudhah Ibnu Halim group are preparing to depart for Mecca as the 1447 Hajj season begins. Their first departure is scheduled for April 22, 2026, following the completion of all preparations, including intensive religious training sessions known as manasik.

Head of KBIHU Ar Raudhah Ibnu Halim, H. Fadli Ramadan MPd.Gr, confirmed on Thursday (April 16, 2026) that all pilgrims have completed 16 structured training sessions to ensure they are fully prepared to perform the Hajj rituals.

Fadli Ramadan, who assumed leadership after the passing of Ilyas Halim, stated that the 107 pilgrims will be divided into three different flight groups, or kloter, departing from the Medan embarkation point.

"The 107 pilgrims will travel separately. Our group is assigned to Clusters 13, 16, and 17," he explained.

Despite the separation, Fadli emphasized that all participants have received sufficient training to independently carry out their religious obligations during the pilgrimage.

To ensure readiness, KBIHU organized 16 manasik sessions led by qualified instructors. According to Fadli, participants demonstrated a strong understanding of the materials delivered.

"These sessions serve as the foundation for properly performing the Hajj rituals. By the end of the program, all pilgrims had mastered the content," he said.

Fadli himself will travel with 45 pilgrims in Cluster 17, which is scheduled as the final departure group from Indonesia on May 11, 2026.

Fadli urged pilgrims in the earlier groups—Clusters 13 and 16—to maintain their health throughout the journey and during the Hajj. He also stressed the importance of following instructions from group leaders and religious guides.

He expressed confidence that, with thorough preparation, the pilgrims will be able to perform their religious duties correctly and independently. He also pledged to maintain communication with all participants while in Mecca.

Additionally, Fadli revealed that the final departure group from North Sumatra will receive a special "Tanazul" arrangement from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

"We hope this policy will make it easier for pilgrims to perform the Hajj," said Fadli, who will also serve as a religious guide during the 2026 pilgrimage. (IDNC)
