DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Regent of Deli Serdang, Asri Ludin Tambunan, officially appointed 73 officials in the Deli Serdang Regency Government on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. The ceremony took place at Aula Cendana, 2nd Floor of the Regent's Office.
The appointments cover positions in the high leadership ranks (JPT Pratama), administrative, supervisory, and functional roles.

During the event, Regent Asri Ludin emphasized the need for a paradigm shift in public service. All population services are now centralized at the Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) to facilitate easier access for citizens.
"There will be no more lengthy or transactional services, either in terms of time or cost. Services must be fast, accurate, and targeted," stressed Asri Ludin.

The inauguration was attended by Vice Regent Lom Lom Suwondo, Chair of TP PKK Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan, Regional Secretary Dedi Maswardy, and leaders of the Organizational Departments (OPD).
In addition to appointing JPT Pratama officials, seven subdistrict heads were rotated, including Sunggal, Hamparan Perak, Batangkuis, Namorambe, Pancur Batu, and Patumbak.
The Regent hopes the rotation will accelerate public service delivery in each district. He emphasized that the role of a subdistrict head is not merely administrative but serves as the Regent's and Vice Regent's extension.
"Those performing well must improve further, while new appointees should follow and continue the successes already achieved," he added.

This round of appointments also prioritized the health sector, including rotations and appointments of several Puskesmas (Community Health Center) Heads in Pantai Labu, Pagar Jati, Tiga Juhar, Karang Anyer, Batang Kuis, Aras Kabu, and Gunung Meriah. The Regent highlighted the importance of providing excellent healthcare services to the community.
"I expect Puskesmas Heads to provide the best possible service for the public. No healthcare access should be made difficult," emphasized Asri Ludin. (IDNC)
