MEDAN | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Indonesian Women Journalists Forum (FJPI) North Sumatra marked Kartini Day with a distinctive and engaging format. The celebration, themed "Cerdas Ceria" (Smart and Cheerful), was held at Serayu Coffee and Space in Medan, creating a warm, interactive, and educational atmosphere for women journalists.
Interactive Quiz Brings Journalistic ChallengeFJPI North Sumatra transformed the Kartini Day commemoration into an interactive quiz competition designed to test members' journalistic knowledge. The questions covered general press literacy, journalistic ethics, and the history of FJPI.

Chairperson of the organizing committee, Sri Endang Lasmiaty, said the quiz was intentionally designed to create a more engaging and meaningful celebration.
"We want to celebrate Kartini Day in a fun yet intellectually stimulating way. Through this quiz, we are reminded again of Kartini's values, which are reflected in the work of today's women journalists," she said.

Chairperson of the FJPI Central Board, Khairiah Lubis, praised the initiative by FJPI North Sumatra. She emphasized the importance of continuous capacity building for women journalists amid rapid developments in the digital media landscape.She also highlighted the integration of cultural elements, such as traditional fabrics, which help preserve cultural identity while reflecting the spirit of Kartini's struggle for women's empowerment.
